Two-time NBA All-Star and NBA Champion Caron Butler has been in the league for over a decade. He's played for numerous teams and has earned a reputation as a reliable and established veteran. But Butler's life wasn't always something to brag about.

Saying Caron Butler's childhood was rough would be a gross understatement to say the least. Growing up in Racine, Wisconsin, Butler's life was an eternal struggle. He began selling drugs at the age of 12 and was arrested at least 15 times by the time he was 15-years-old. Eventually he was sentenced to one year in prison at the age of 14-years-old.

However, when Butler got out, he was determined to set his life straight. He got himself a job at Burger King and proudly kept himself out of trouble, until January 22, 1998, when another person's mistake put his entire future in jeopardy.
